The 42nd Annual General Meeting of the West Highland Steamer Club was held on Friday 30th April.
Ian Somerville demitted the President’s Office and was replaced by Iain Quinn, who will hold the President’s Office for the following two years.
The Club Committee is as follows:
Honorary President: John Whittle.
President: Iain Quinn.
Vice President: Alistair Deayton.
Treasurer: Robin Love.
Secretary: Duncan Wilson.
Committee Members: Arthur McDonald and Robert Warnock.
Immediate Past President: Ian Somerville.
Ex-Officio Members: Gordon Law and Ian McCrorie.
After the close of business Alistair Deayton presented a DVD compilation of transport interest including shipping, railways, road transport, trams and aircraft.
The new season of winter meetings opens on Friday 29th October when Lorna Spencer, Director of Harbours and Piers, Caledonian Maritime Assets Ltd will address the Club.
Meetings will be held in the Kirk Lounge, Renfield St Stephens Church Centre, 260 Bath Street, Glasgow round the corner from Charing Cross Station commencing at 19.30.

Tonight’s return freight sailing from Stornoway to Ullapool is cancelled due to the adverse weather conditions.

The service across the Sound of Harris between Berneray and Leverburgh is facing disruptions due to tidal conditions on the following days:
Thursday 15th and Friday 16th April: 
13.30 from Berneray and 14.45 from Leverburgh have been cancelled.
Monday 26th April: 
10.30 from Berneray and 11.35 from Leverburgh have been cancelled.
Tuesday 27th, Wednesday 28th and Thursday 29th:
11.35 from Leverburgh and 13.30 from Berneray have been cancelled.

The service from Oban to Colonsay, Port Askaig and Kennacraig is facing delays or disruptions due to technical reasons from Monday 19th until Thursday 22nd April.
One vessel will be running on the service.
The following amended timetable will operate:
Dep Kennacraig: 07.00, 13.00 &18.00. Monday to Thursday.
Dep Port Ellen: 09.45 & 20.40. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Dep Port Askaig: 15.30 Monday to Thursday.
Dep Port Askaig: 20.20 Monday only.
There will be no direct sailing from Kennacraig to Colonsay and Oban on Wednesday.
This means that no day trips to Colonsay will be available.
There will, however, be a connecting service from Oban to Islay and Colonsay on Wednesday.
The following service will operate on Wednesday only:
Dep Oban 15.40. Arr Colonsay 17.55. Dep Colonsay 18.15.  Arr Port Askaig 19.25.  Dep Port Askaig 19.30.  Arr Colonsay 20.40.  Dep Colonsay 20.45.  Arr Oban 23.10. 
LORD OF THE ISLES will carry out this service.

Sailings between Ullapool and Stornoway were cancelled today for technical reasons.
Additional sailings are being organised for tomorrow.

Yesterday’s sailing to Colonsay was cancelled. The ferry left Oban bound for Colonsay at 05.20 this morning to pick up the timetable at 07.50.
Last night’s freight service from Stornoway to Ullapool was cancelled. Tonight’s service is already cancelled.
LOCHNEVIS may not be able to call at Muck today due to the weather.

Last night’s freight service from Stornoway to Ullapool was cancelled due to the adverse weather forecast.
High winds are disrupting various sailings throughout the Western Isles today.
Caledonian MacBrayne are advising their customers that the 17.00 sailing from Oban to Colonsay may be disrupted.
The sailing to Coll and Tiree may also face disruptions.
Services from Uig to Tarbert and Lochmaddy are running fifty minutes late.
The Mallaig to Armadale service is cancelled possibly for the rest of the day.
LOCHNEVIS will attempt the first calls at Eigg and Rum and will try to call at Canna.
Sailings from Fionnphort to Iona are running late.
All other sailings around the Western Isles would appear to be running as per timetable
